Construction Technical Lead

Role Purpose

The Modular Construction Technical Lead provides electrical and mechanical expertise to support the successful installation of modular systems on client sites. This role ensures effective coordination of subcontractor teams, delivers technical guidance, and supports both the general contractor and client engineering teams throughout the installation process.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Provide clear technical direction to the General Contractor.
• Support and guide subcontractor assembly teams during installation.
• Ensure correct interpretation and execution of module assembly plans.

Problem Solving & Support

• Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Deliver hands-on technical support during critical incidents.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Train client engineers and operators on the installation and use of structures.

Collaboration

• Work closely with design, QA, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth module integration.
• Act as the key technical contact between internal teams, subcontractors, and the client.

Requirements

• Degree in Electromechanical Engineering (or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering depending on project structure).
• Proven experience managing equipment installation projects involving piping, steel structures, and electrical systems.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent organisational and coordination abilities.
