Up to £525 per day (Inside IR35)
The ideal candidate would have experience in a support function within financial services and delievering excpetional customer service.
You will be responsible for:
- Serving as level 1 support and provide daily MTF application and overall platform support, and troubleshooting for members
- Fulfil client and platform customisation requests
- Maintain platform health through alerting provisioning and monitoring
- Manage any incidents from the perspective of the MTF, and coordinate post-mortems and follow ups
- Coordinate and run emergency and regulatory required periodic testing of systems and procedures
- Assist with product testing and project work
Essential Experience
- Proven experience supporting a production platform in financial markets, ideally in an exchange trading environment
- Knowledge of fundamentals of European equity market structure, ideally familiar with MTFs.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of FIX protocol
- Good experience with MSSQL, Sybase databases; including writing queries
- Working knowledge of order management systems
- Experience in programming and scripting languages - Python, Java, Javascript
Strong technical skills are expected in the following areas:
- FIX
- Unix/Linux
- SQL database
